The Castle Hill RSL Club is encouraging all of its sub clubs to become incorporated following a recent risk assessment by the RSL club. Being incorporated means that club members are not at risk of being sued in the event of an incident when attending a CHRSL Photography Club event off site. We have not had an incident since the club started, this does not guarantee that there won’t be an incident in the future.

To become incorporated we require a new constitution to be lodged with Fair Trading as it needs to address specific items. The draft CHRSL Photography Club constitution has been endorsed by the Castle Hill RSL club. Refer to the link for the revised constitution at the end of this post.

The Special General Meeting will take place on October 22 at 7:30pm in the sovereign room at the RSL. This is immediately before the competition night judging. Peter O’Brien will chair the meeting.

If you are unable to attend it is very important that you vote using the proxy form to ensure we have the votes for the revised constitution to be passed. We will require the proxy forms to be sent to the club’s secretary by October 20. The proxy form and the revised constitution are in MyPhotoClub in the members resources area.
